The Challenge: Managing Access for High-Density Co-living
Larsen’s vision for Sume was to create a connected community where young professionals, digital nomads, and expats can move in effortlessly without administrative friction. Traditional metal keys or standard magnetic fobs presented an operational bottleneck: lost keys, locked-out residents after hours, and the constant cost of re-keying cylinders when tenants moved.
The Solution: Centralized WebLock Infrastructure
WebLock equipped every single apartment door with WebLock Shield smart handles, as well as installing online digital access controllers for building main entrances, package delivery rooms, gym facilities, and co-working lounges. Upon signing their digital lease, residents automatically receive their unique 6-digit access PIN and a secure digital mobile link.
Measurable Results & Tenant Satisfaction
Building operations are now 100% digitalized. Property managers can grant scheduled access to cleaners and maintenance contractors without leaving their office. Tenant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive: 98% of residents prefer digital entry over traditional fobs.
“WebLock has eliminated physical key administration across our 132 apartments, communal kitchens, gym, and co-working spaces. Move-ins are instantaneous, and tenants love opening doors with their phone or PIN.”
